COVID19 : PROVIDING SUPPORT TO STUDENTS & THEIR FAMILIES
2020 was the year that disrupted education. The lives of our students and teachers were impacted economically and as part of our emergency response, we partnered with Lagos Food Bank in providing much-needed food to the families of our students & teachers. This was an essential response because it provided much-needed relief to our community.
BRINGING SCIENCE TO LIFE!

LEARNING TO CODE
In addition to renovating computer labs, we also embed trained teachers in our partner schools. Ibrahim & Sarah are two students who have benefited from an introduction to coding:
'It’s great we now have a computer lab! we are learning coding for the first time and creating cool things!
TEACHER TRAINING IN ABEOKUTA
In 2019, Canon worked with Tech for Nigeria fellows to train over 100 teachers in basic computing skills. We also delivered a talk on technology and why it is important in the classroom.
